Maggots, Becketts, Chapel

Ignore the first Maggotts kink. Brake hard before the first right (Becketts 1) and aim for a late apex to stay far right for the crucial second left-right. The Clio’s strong turn-in and trail-braking stability shine here—brake again into the left and be patient.

Bridge Corner

Faster and less scary than it looks. Turn-in is masked by the bridge, and grip increases thanks to the camber and dip. Clio’s agility allows you to take a slightly earlier apex if needed. Exit mid-road, then ease right to brake in a straight line for Priory.

 

Priory

Set up wide. Clio’s predictable front end lets you carry more speed—just don’t rush the entry or you’ll understeer and lift. Use the full track width. The exit kerb is aggressive—avoid riding it as it can drag you onto the grass and kill exit speed.

 

Brooklands

Discipline matters here. Brake early and turn later than you expect. Avoid the tall inside kerb, especially in a stiff-sprung car like the Clio. Exit straight and immediately move left to set up for Luffield.

 

Luffield One

Clio understeers here—embrace it. Turn in early and hug the inside kerb all the way around. Don’t go hunting for a late apex—the road is dirty. Keep the wheel steady and throttle smooth. Use the concrete on exit, but not the grass beyond—it’ll cost drive down to Woodcote and Copse.

 

Woodcote

Fast, with zero runoff. Apex is blind due to the gantry. Early apex works well in the Clio, but beware the exit—don’t run wide or you risk clipping the pit wall. Smooth throttle and gradual turn-in are your friends here.
